Private Consultations with Mr Raymond
Many patients choose private treatment for faster access, a choice of appointment times and continuity with one consultant throughout their care.
Mr Raymond sees patients from across Bournemouth, Poole, Swanage, Christchurch, Wimborne, Ferndown, Ringwood, Lymington, the wider New Forest, Dorset and London. Consultations take place at the Nuffield Health Bournemouth Hospital and the Circle Harbour Hospital, Poole.
Self-funding patients do not need a GP referral. Patients may refer themselves or be referred by a GP, physiotherapist, consultant or other healthcare professional. You can contact the office to ask about fixed-price treatment packages.
Insured patients: Mr Raymond is recognised by most major insurers. Please contact your insurer before booking to obtain an authorisation code; most insurers require a GP referral.
Booking an Appointment
Appointments are arranged by Mr Raymond's secretary, Lisa Green, who can be reached by phone or email, Monday to Friday during working hours. She will help you find a convenient time. Alternatively, you can book directly into Mr Raymond's clinics:
Clinic times:
Bournemouth Nuffield Hospital: Tuesday PM and Thursday AM ·
Harbour Hospital: Wednesday PM.
Video and telephone consultations are also available, particularly for follow-ups.

Previous X-rays and scans
If you have had X-rays or scans at another hospital, please let Lisa know. She will do her best to obtain them for your appointment; however, some hospitals charge a fee, restrict access or take several weeks to release images.
If further imaging is recommended at your consultation, MRI and CT scanning are available on site, next to Mr Raymond's consulting rooms, usually at short notice.
